Unity LevelPlay alternatives require a clear distinction between mediation and Unity's own advertising demand. LevelPlay manages multiple sources; Unity Ads and ironSource Exchange are separate products. A problem with one source does not necessarily require replacing LevelPlay, and another demand SDK does not automatically replace its bidding and waterfall management.

What to replace in your Unity LevelPlay setup
Identify whether the desired change is the developer workflow, the supported demand mix or the reporting and settlement process. Check the complete dependency matrix for your engine and operating systems. A stack that looks simpler on paper can require new account approvals and adapters for the same networks.
Unity LevelPlay alternatives by use case
1. AppLovin MAX: A direct multi-network mediation comparison
MAX is relevant if you want a different mediation platform with bidding, waterfall management and revenue analytics. Inventory the sources you need and verify their current MAX integrations. Confirm app approvals, credentials and settlement for each partner rather than treat access to the mediator as blanket network access.

2. Google AdMob: Mediation with Google network demand
AdMob is another mediation candidate and includes its own Google demand. Assess that account’s review requirements alongside adapter compatibility. A move from LevelPlay can change reporting and account management, but it does not eliminate the independent policies of any third-party networks you continue to use.

3. Unity Ads: A demand-only choice if the scope changes
Unity Ads is relevant when you want supported Unity demand without assuming you need the current mediation configuration. It is not another name for LevelPlay. If using it directly, account for the loss of multi-network management; if using another mediator, check the current supported adapter route.

4. Liftoff Monetize: A separate network for demand testing
Liftoff Monetize is a candidate if the issue is the source mix rather than LevelPlay itself. Confirm SDK and adapter naming across Liftoff and the historical Vungle labels. Keep a network test separate from a mediation migration so a change in revenue or latency can be attributed sensibly.

5. Pangle: Demand where account and market eligibility fit
Pangle is worth testing for an eligible app and supported markets. Verify publisher-location eligibility and actual demand coverage separately. It can be part of a replacement stack, but it does not operate all of your other networks or remove their account and payment requirements.

6. Mintegral: Another approved source within a selected stack
Mintegral provides another demand candidate where the app passes review and a supported adapter is available. Evaluate the formats you actually serve and check privacy configuration. Its SDK cannot by itself reproduce LevelPlay’s multi-network operation, so confirm which platform will own that function after any migration.

Before switching from Unity LevelPlay
Map LevelPlay ad units to replacement placements and preserve network credentials, frequency rules and reward handling. Check how SDK initialization and consent forwarding change. Do not confuse LevelPlay with the legacy ironSource direct-demand business; review current source availability independently while rolling out a staged migration with crash and revenue monitoring.
Every network can require its own app approval, privacy configuration and payment verification. A mediation account does not automatically approve the sources connected to it.
How to judge the result
Compare net ad ARPDAU, request coverage, fill, rendered-impression eCPM and impressions per user by OS, country and format. Include load latency, crashes and retention. A higher eCPM on fewer filled requests is not by itself a better monetization result.
We have not verified a controlled revenue benchmark or a comparable approval-rate dataset for this shortlist. The setup labels are editorial estimates, and all account-specific terms should be checked with the provider. The table links to official references and full profiles so you can confirm the details that apply to your business.
Which option should you shortlist?
MAX and AdMob are the relevant mediation alternatives. Unity Ads, Liftoff, Pangle and Mintegral represent demand decisions within a chosen architecture. Replace the mediator only when that is the part of the operation you actually want to change.
