BidMachine alternatives require a decision about architecture. A bidding platform connects an app to programmatic demand, while a mediator manages a wider set of networks and a direct network contributes its own demand. Those roles overlap in an ad stack but are not identical. Identify which function your team actually needs to replace.

What to replace in your BidMachine setup
If the issue is maintaining bidding infrastructure, a full mediation move may be relevant. If you only need another source of demand, you may be able to keep the existing stack. Compare access, auction integration, reporting and who is responsible for payment reconciliation before choosing an SDK.
BidMachine alternatives by use case
1. AppLovin MAX: A broader mediation operating model
MAX is relevant when the goal is to operate multiple networks through a mediator with bidding and waterfall configuration. It is a broader change than replacing one demand endpoint. Confirm SDK and adapter support and allow for each partner’s account review, credentials and separate settlement.

2. Unity LevelPlay: Another multi-network management route
LevelPlay is a candidate when you want the mediation layer to manage a mix of demand sources. It is distinct from Unity Ads and iSX demand. Compare current formats, engine support and reporting workflows, not just an assumption that every Unity publisher product performs the same role.

3. Google AdMob: Google network demand with optional mediation
AdMob is relevant if your app can meet Google’s review requirements and you want network demand or a different mediator. Choose that scope explicitly. A direct or mediated source test is less disruptive than moving the whole bidding architecture, and makes results easier to attribute.

4. Amazon Publisher Services: A different in-app bidding product
APS is worth evaluating when an available mobile product and supported mediator route fit your inventory. Clarify eligibility, partner contracts and settlement before implementation. It is a product-specific partnership, not a generic replacement for every programmatic source or all BidMachine infrastructure functions.

5. Smaato / Verve Brand+: An exchange-demand relationship
Smaato / Verve Brand+ is a candidate for reviewed app inventory through supported SDK or bidding integrations. Confirm how auction participation works in your selected stack. Treat it as exchange demand unless the provider proposes a broader service, and verify reporting and payment responsibility directly.

6. Moloco SDK: Publisher demand through a supported mediator
Moloco SDK is relevant where its publisher portal and adapter support are available. It supplies a demand relationship rather than all the infrastructure a team may operate through BidMachine. Confirm the account, credentials and formats before assigning engineering time to the integration.

Before switching from BidMachine
Map the current auction path, demand connections and account ownership before making changes. Confirm that the replacement can take over the particular layer you remove. Validate consent, timeout and no-fill handling, and keep per-partner reporting so auction bids can be reconciled with actual impressions and payable revenue after the migration.
Every network can require its own app approval, privacy configuration and payment verification. A mediation account does not automatically approve the sources connected to it.
How to judge the result
Compare net ad ARPDAU, request coverage, fill, rendered-impression eCPM and impressions per user by OS, country and format. Include load latency, crashes and retention. A higher eCPM on fewer filled requests is not by itself a better monetization result.
We have not verified a controlled revenue benchmark or a comparable approval-rate dataset for this shortlist. The setup labels are editorial estimates, and all account-specific terms should be checked with the provider. Which option should you shortlist?
MAX, LevelPlay and AdMob are candidates for a broader mediation decision. APS concerns a product-specific bidding route; Verve and Moloco address demand relationships. Choose the role that solves the current problem before comparing implementation costs.
