Sovrn alternatives must start with the right product. This guide covers website advertising demand and supply-side tools, not the Sovrn Commerce affiliate-link business. If your problem is shopping-link conversion or merchant coverage, an advertising network is not the same solution. For ad inventory, decide whether you need another demand source or a team to manage the stack.

What to replace in your Sovrn setup
A programmatic exchange relationship can be one part of a wider operation. Changing it may leave the ad server, wrapper and other demand partners untouched. A managed service is a broader migration. Compare those scopes explicitly, including who owns contracts and who reconciles revenue.
Sovrn alternatives by use case
1. Smaato / Verve Brand+ for Web: Another web exchange relationship
Smaato / Verve Brand+ for Web is a candidate for desktop or mobile website programmatic supply. Confirm the supported web tag, bidding or OpenRTB route and the inventory review. Do not use adoption of its historical app SDK as a measure of website integration suitability.

2. InMobi for Mobile Web: A mobile web demand conversation
InMobi for Mobile Web is relevant when your inventory is browser-based mobile traffic. Confirm the exact supported integration and formats for your site. Its app SDK is a separate product; switching advertising exchange relationships should not lead you to install an in-app integration on a website.

3. Setupad: Bidding technology with optional operational support
Setupad is useful when you want to reconsider the wrapper or management model as well as demand. Its managed and self-service products leave different work with the publisher. Compare that broader scope separately from replacing Sovrn as one supply-side relationship in an existing stack.

4. Amazon Publisher Services for Web: A different marketplace and bidding route
APS web products are worth examining for an eligible publisher considering server-side bidding. TAM and UAM differ in access, partner contracts and payments. Establish which product is actually available before treating it as a substitute for the existing Sovrn integration.

5. Newor Media: A managed programmatic direction
Newor Media is relevant when the publisher wants a reviewed display and video partnership with ad operations support. That is a wider change than adding another exchange. Ask about placement ownership and reporting, and check whether existing demand relationships will be retained, replaced or consolidated.

6. Adsterra: A direct-network approach for selected placements
Adsterra is a candidate when supported direct-network formats meet your objectives. It is not interchangeable with an SSP endpoint or bidding partner. Use a format-specific trial and account for the operational work and user-experience differences, particularly if pop or SmartLink products are introduced.

Before switching from Sovrn
Document the Sovrn advertising product, credentials and settlement path you currently use. Identify the wrapper and ad-server dependencies before removing a demand connection. Keep ads.txt aligned with active relationships and reconcile each partner’s final reporting. If moving to managed operations, confirm how existing direct contracts are handled.
A different network still has its own content and traffic policies. An unpublished minimum does not mean automatic approval, and pop or push formats need their own visitor-experience test.
How to judge the result
Compare net page RPM and session revenue by country and device, with the same page templates and similar ad density. Check viewability, fill and page performance too. Account for fees, the payout threshold in your payment method and the delay before revenue becomes payable.
We have not verified a controlled revenue benchmark or a comparable approval-rate dataset for this shortlist. The setup labels are editorial estimates, and all account-specific terms should be checked with the provider. The table links to official references and full profiles so you can confirm the details that apply to your business.
Which option should you shortlist?
Verve Brand+ and InMobi Mobile Web are the closer exchange conversations. APS and Setupad raise broader bidding decisions, while Newor Media adds a managed model. Evaluate Adsterra as a direct-network format choice, separate from exchange connectivity.
